Description
The Team Associated ASC4715 RC12R6 Chassis is the main structural platform of the RC12R6 1/12-scale pan car. Every other component on the car mounts to this plate, including the front end, the side spring assembly, the rear pod, the servo, the speed control, and the battery, so its flatness and flex behavior directly shape how the car loads its tires through a corner.
Built from aluminum, this plate is a direct replacement for the chassis supplied in the RC12R6 kit. It carries the same mounting hole pattern and cutouts, so a rebuild is a straight transfer of your existing hardware and electronics with no modification or drilling required.
The chassis is the part most likely to be tweaked or scarred after a hard hit or a long run on abrasive carpet, and a bent plate quietly ruins ride height, droop, and left-to-right balance no matter how carefully the rest of the car is dialed in. Starting a new season, or finishing a full rebuild, on a fresh chassis restores the baseline your setup sheet assumes and takes one variable out of your tuning.
