Description
The Team Associated ASC4707 Side Spring Retainers are replacement suspension hardware for Associated 1/12-scale and Formula pan car chassis. The retainers locate the side springs on the suspension, holding each spring square to its mounting point so it compresses and rebounds consistently instead of binding or wandering off its seat under load.
These retainers fit the RC12R5.2, RC10R5.1, RC10F6, and RC12R6. Because side springs are adjusted and swapped constantly across a race weekend, the retainers see repeated handling and are among the first small pieces racers misplace or damage in a crash. Keeping a spare set in the pit box means a bent or missing retainer never ends a run early.
This is a direct replacement for the retainers supplied with those kits, so no modification or extra hardware is required. Remove the damaged part, install the new one, and carry on. Restoring worn retainers brings back the precise spring preload settings your setup sheet depends on and keeps suspension response predictable corner after corner.
