Description
These M4x16 mm set screws are replacement hardware for Team Associated and Element RC Apex2 on-road vehicles. A set screw threads through a collar or hub and clamps against a shaft or pin, which is how components such as drive parts, mounts, and adjustable hardware are locked into position without a protruding screw head getting in the way.
Set screws are small, easy to lose during a rebuild, and easy to round out if the hex driver slips even slightly. A set screw that backs out lets the part it retains slide or spin, which can quickly damage the shaft or hub it was meant to hold. Keeping spares on hand means you can restore a proper, tight fit during routine maintenance instead of reusing a marginal screw and hoping it holds.
Fitment covers the Apex2, Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and Apex2 Hoonigan, along with Element RC applications using this size. These are direct replacements for the factory hardware and install with no modification.
