This Team Associated 100 tooth 64 pitch Kimbrough spur gear is built for the fine pitch drivetrains used in pan cars and modern touring cars. The 64 pitch tooth profile puts more teeth in mesh at any moment than a coarser 48 pitch gear, which runs quieter, transmits power more smoothly and gives you finer steps between ratios when you change pinions.
At 100 teeth this is a high tooth count spur, so it gears the car down for stronger acceleration and cooler motor temperatures, which matters on the short, tight layouts where carpet and asphalt pan cars spend most of their time. The Kimbrough composite resists chipping and holds its tooth form against a steel pinion.
Fitment covers the RC12R5, RC12R5.1, RC12R5.2, RC12R6, RC12L4, RC10R5-Oval and RC10R5.1 pan cars along with the TC6.2, TC7, TC7.1 and TC7.2 touring cars and the RC10F6. Install as a direct replacement for a worn or damaged spur gear, or add it to your gearing selection.
