Description
The Team Associated ASC4403 kingpins are the vertical pivot pins that the front steering blocks rotate on in Associated 1:12 scale pan cars. Every steering input and every front end impact passes through them, and they also carry the front springs, so a bent or scored kingpin causes binding, inconsistent steering feel, and springs that no longer compress smoothly.
This set includes E-clips, so you have the retaining hardware needed to complete the installation rather than reusing clips that have already been spread open.
Fitment covers the RC12L3, RC12L4, RC12R5, RC12R5.1, and RC12R5.2 chassis. They are direct replacements for the kingpins supplied on those cars and fit the standard steering blocks and axle height adjusters with no modification. Because a smooth kingpin is fundamental to how the front suspension moves, replacing them is one of the cheapest ways to restore front end feel on a car that has raced a full season. Worth fitting fresh as part of any front end rebuild.
