Description
This is a pack of 4 dowel pins, sized 2.5 x 12mm, made for the portal axle assembly used on Team Associated's Enduro Portal Axle-equipped trail trucks and crawlers. Dowel pins are precision ground to a tight tolerance so they locate mating housing halves and internal gear components with zero play, keeping the portal drive's internal shafts and bearings in correct alignment under load. Proper alignment reduces binding and uneven wear on the internal gears, which helps the portal axle turn smoothly and hold up to repeated impacts on rough, rocky terrain. This is a direct replacement part for pins that have worked loose, bent, or been lost during a full axle teardown, and it restores the assembly to factory fit and function rather than serving as a performance upgrade. Because dowel pins are a wear item that can walk out of position after hard use, keeping spares on hand makes routine portal axle service and maintenance far easier. The package includes 4 pins, enough to service one portal axle housing or to keep as spares for future rebuilds and repairs on Enduro Portal Axle vehicles.
