Description
The Team Associated ASC4118 springs are the .014 specification springs used across Associated 1:12 scale pan cars and the Associated 1:18 scale vehicle range. This is one of the softest specifications offered, which makes it the choice when you need maximum compliance, whether that is a low grip surface, a rough track, or a light 1:18 chassis that never loads a stiff spring hard enough to work.
Fitment is unusually broad. On the pan car side they suit the RC12L3, RC12L4, RC12R5.1, RC12R5.2, and RC12R6 along with the RC10F6. On the 1:18 side they cover the RC18T2 and RC18B2, RC18 Late Model, SC18, the Rival 1:18 monster truck, the 1:18 touring car, and the 1:18 buggy.
They install as direct replacement springs on those models, fitting the standard spring locations with no modification. Soft springs take a set faster than stiff ones, so replacing them periodically is the simplest way to keep suspension behavior predictable.
