Description
The Team Associated ASC41170 RC10 Pickup Truck Rear Driveshaft transfers power from the transmission output to the rear axle assembly of the RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck. It is the slider-type shaft that allows the distance between the gearbox and the axle to change as the rear suspension cycles through its travel, while continuing to deliver drive.
Driveshafts are a high-stress part of any 4WD driveline. Repeated shock loading from throttle input, wheel impacts, and articulation can wear the sliding surfaces or damage the shaft ends, which shows up as driveline slop, vibration, or a complete loss of drive to the rear axle.
This driveshaft fits the RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck and installs in the factory location using the standard hardware, making it a direct replacement for the shaft supplied with the vehicle. It is also worth carrying as a spare, since a failed rear shaft leaves the truck without rear drive and ends a run.
