Description
The Team Associated ASC4117 springs are the .022 short springs for Associated 1:12 scale pan car front suspension. Front spring specification is the main lever for tuning steering feel on a pan car. It sets how far the chassis rolls onto the front tires and how fast the front end takes load, which the driver feels as corner entry response and as how much the car pushes at mid corner.
The .022 specification is a softer option within the short spring range, generally chosen to generate more front grip when a track has lost bite or the surface has gone bumpy.
Fitment covers the RC12L3, RC12L4, RC12R5.1, RC12R5.2, RC12R6, and RC10F6 chassis. These are direct replacements for the springs supplied on those cars and install into the standard front spring positions with no modification. Springs take a set after repeated compression and lose their original rate, so fresh sets keep handling consistent from heat to heat. Stock several specifications to tune quickly between rounds.
