Description
The Team Associated ASC41164 CR12 C-Channel Frame Rails are the ladder frame side rails used in the chassis of the RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck. The C-channel profile mirrors full-size truck frame construction, giving the chassis its scale appearance while providing the mounting points for the suspension links, shock mounts, bumpers, and body posts.
Because the frame rails carry every load that passes through the truck, they are exposed to bending and impact damage in a hard rollover or a direct hit to the bumper. Replacing a tweaked rail restores correct chassis geometry and keeps the suspension links and axle housings in their intended positions.
These rails fit the RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck and install using the factory crossmember and hardware locations, making them a direct replacement for the rails supplied with the kit. They are also a straightforward way to refresh a well-used chassis when rebuilding a truck from the frame up.
