This genuine Team Associated differential ring gear is a 39-tooth metal gear built for the differentials used in the MT12 1:12-scale 4WD monster truck platform. Machined from hardened metal rather than plastic, it meshes with the pinion gear inside the differential case to transfer power to the axles while withstanding far more torque and wear than a stock plastic ring gear, making it a popular upgrade for owners running higher-power brushless setups. The metal construction resists stripping and cracking under hard acceleration and impacts, extending the service life of the differential compared to the factory plastic gear. As a direct replacement, it fits inside the existing MT12 differential case without needing other differential components to be swapped, and installation uses the factory gear diff internals and case halves. This listing includes one 39-tooth metal ring gear only; the differential case, pinion gear, gears, and diff fluid are sold separately as individual MT12 components.
