Description
The Team Associated ASC4116 springs are the .024 short springs used in the front suspension of Associated 1:12 scale pan cars. On a pan car the front springs control how much the chassis dives under braking and how quickly the front end loads in a corner, so changing spring specification is one of the fastest ways to adjust corner entry and mid corner grip without touching geometry.
This is the short length version in the .024 specification, supplied in kit form on several chassis, which makes it a common wear item to replace once the springs take a set.
Fitment covers the RC12L3, RC12L4, RC12R5.1, RC12R5.2, RC12R6, and RC10F6 chassis. They fit the standard front spring locations on those cars and install as direct replacements for the springs originally supplied, with no modification needed. Racers usually carry the full spread of specifications so they can adapt as a track changes grip through the day. A cheap, high impact tuning part for any 1:12 program.
