This genuine Team Associated motor heatsink is built for the brushless motor used in the MT12+ Lux 1:12-scale 4WD monster truck platform. Machined with cooling fins, it clamps around the motor can to increase surface area and pull heat away from the windings during hard runs, helping the motor and speed control stay within safe operating temperatures on long bash sessions or extended race heats. Better heat management can also help preserve motor efficiency and lifespan by reducing the thermal stress that builds up during repeated high-load acceleration. The heatsink is shaped to bolt directly onto the factory MT12+ Lux motor mount without modification, making it a straightforward direct-fit upgrade or replacement for a damaged or missing factory heatsink. It installs with the existing motor screws and does not require any additional wiring or chassis changes. This listing includes the motor heatsink only; the motor, motor mount, and mounting screws are sold separately as individual MT12+ Lux components.
