Description
The CR12 Wheel Hex Set provides replacement wheel hexes and retaining pins for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler platform, also compatible with the MT12 Monster Truck and MT12 Monster Van. The wheel hexes mount onto the axle stubs and transfer driveline torque directly to the wheels, while the included pins lock the wheels securely onto the hexes so they stay put through hard impacts, rock strikes, and constant articulation. Machined for a precise fit, these hexes minimize wobble and slop at the wheel mount, helping maintain consistent handling and reducing stress on the axle stubs and drive cups. This set is a direct replacement for worn, rounded, or broken factory hexes and pins, a common failure point on crawlers that see frequent wheel changes or hard trail use. Refreshing the hexes and pins restores secure, reliable wheel retention and keeps torque transfer efficient from the axles to the tires. Having spares on hand also makes it easy to swap wheel and tire combinations for different terrain without worrying about worn hardware causing a wheel to work loose mid-run.
