Description
This is an 11-tooth pinion gear designed for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler and the Enduro12 Trail Truck platforms. The pinion gear mounts on the transmission output shaft and meshes with the internal spur gear to transfer power from the motor to the drivetrain, directly influencing the final gear ratio and crawling torque. Molded from durable engineering-grade material, it holds tight tooth tolerances for smooth, quiet meshing and resists stripping and wear far better than a worn factory gear nearing the end of its service life. Swapping in a fresh 11T pinion restores crisp power delivery and reduces drivetrain slop that can develop after repeated use on rocky, technical terrain. It is a direct factory replacement for the original equipment pinion gear, and can also serve as a gearing option for tuning low-speed crawling torque versus top-end speed. Correct pinion mesh and gear condition are essential to protecting the motor and spur gear from premature wear, so keeping a spare on hand is recommended for anyone actively running a CR12 or Enduro12 Trail Truck. Installation is straightforward with a set screw and matches OEM specifications exactly.
