Description
This screw set supplies the fasteners that secure the driveshafts on Team Associated's CR12 scale crawler platform. Driveshaft set screws lock the universal joint or slider onto the axle shaft, transmitting drive torque from the transmission to the wheels, and this set is a direct match for the hardware used on CR12, Enduro12 Trail Truck, MT12 Monster Truck, MT12 Monster Van, and RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck vehicles that share the same driveline design. The screws are machined from hardened steel for reliable thread engagement, resisting the loosening and stripping that can occur under the repeated torque loads of crawling over obstacles. A loose or stripped set screw can allow a driveshaft to slip or disconnect entirely, leaving a wheel without power at the worst possible moment on the trail, so keeping this hardware fresh is important routine maintenance. This part functions as a direct replacement for the original factory set screws, restoring secure driveshaft engagement rather than changing the driveline's design.
