Description
These shock cap bushings are direct-fit replacements for the oil-filled shocks used on Team Associated's CR12 scale crawler platform. They sit inside the shock cap and guide the shock shaft as it moves, working alongside the shaft seal to keep the damper sealed while allowing smooth, low-friction travel, and they fit CR12, Enduro12 Trail Truck, MT12 Monster Truck, and MT12 Monster Van vehicles that share the same shock cap design. The bushings are molded from a durable plastic chosen to resist wear from repeated shaft movement while maintaining a snug fit that keeps the shaft properly centered in the shock body. A worn or oversized bushing lets the shock shaft wobble off-center, which can cause binding or oil seepage and inconsistent damping over rocks and uneven terrain. This part is intended as a direct replacement for worn factory bushings, restoring proper shaft alignment and sealing rather than changing the shock's damping characteristics. Bushings are included in the quantity needed to service the vehicle's full complement of shock absorbers as part of routine maintenance.
