Description
This is a set of replacement shock springs for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler, also fitting the MT12 Monster Truck and Monster Van platforms. The springs fit over the shock shaft and body to control suspension compression and rebound, directly affecting how the vehicle absorbs impacts and maintains wheel contact with the ground on uneven terrain. Wound from tempered spring steel, they are engineered to hold consistent spring rate and length over repeated compression cycles, resisting the sag and fatigue that can develop in older springs after extended use. Installing fresh shock springs restores proper ride height and suspension response, helping the vehicle settle predictably through rock crawling sections and absorb landings during more aggressive driving. This is a direct factory replacement for the original equipment springs, and can also be used to fine-tune suspension feel when paired with the appropriate shock oil weight. Because the springs work together with the shock's internal damping to control body roll and wheel articulation, keeping them in good condition is important for predictable handling, whether crawling over rocks at low speed or bashing over rough terrain.
