Description
This shock rebuild kit supplies the internal components needed to service the oil-filled shocks on Team Associated's CR12 scale crawler platform, including the seals, pistons, and small parts that wear out with use. It is a direct match for the shocks used on CR12, Enduro12 Trail Truck, MT12 Monster Truck, and MT12 Monster Van vehicles, which share the same shock design across the lineup. The included seals and pistons are made from materials selected to hold their shape and sealing ability under the sustained pressure of an oil-filled damper, helping prevent the leaks and inconsistent damping that develop as factory seals age and harden. Rebuilding shocks periodically is standard maintenance for crawling and off-road driving, since smooth, leak-free damper action is essential to keeping the suspension responsive over rocks and uneven terrain. This kit is intended as a direct replacement for worn internal shock components, restoring damper performance to original specification rather than upgrading it. One complete rebuild kit, sized for the vehicle's full set of shocks, is included in this package.
