Description
These shock pistons are direct-fit replacements for the oil-filled shocks used on Team Associated's CR12 scale crawler platform, featuring a two-hole design that controls the rate at which shock oil passes through the piston during compression and rebound. They fit the shock assemblies used on CR12, Enduro12 Trail Truck, MT12 Monster Truck, and MT12 Monster Van vehicles, which share the same shock architecture across the platform. Each piston is molded from a durable plastic that holds its shape under repeated oil flow and pressure, maintaining consistent damping characteristics over time rather than wearing oversized and losing control. The two-hole configuration provides firmer, more controlled damping suited to scale crawling, where predictable suspension movement over rocks and uneven terrain is more important than high-speed compliance. This part is intended as a direct replacement for a worn or damaged factory piston, restoring the shock to its original damping behavior. Pistons are included in the quantity needed to rebuild the vehicle's full set of shock absorbers, making this a convenient option when performing a complete shock rebuild.
