Description
This shock set supplies the molded plastic components used to build or rebuild the oil-filled shocks on Team Associated's CR12 scale crawler platform. It includes the shock bodies, caps, and related plastic pieces needed for a complete damper rebuild, and it is a direct match for the shocks used on CR12, Enduro12 Trail Truck, MT12 Monster Truck, and MT12 Monster Van vehicles, which share the same shock architecture. The plastic parts are molded from a durable material chosen to resist cracking under the pressure of a sealed, oil-filled shock while sealing reliably against the shock oil to prevent leaks. Smooth, consistent shock action is essential for scale crawling, where the suspension must absorb slow, controlled compression over rocks and uneven terrain without binding or leaking. This part is intended as a direct replacement for worn or damaged factory shock plastics, restoring damper performance to original specification rather than serving as a performance upgrade. One complete set of shock plastic components, sized for the vehicle's full complement of shocks, is included in this package.
