Description
This servo saver and mounting set is a direct-fit replacement for the steering assembly used on Team Associated's CR12 scale crawler platform. It includes the servo saver, which absorbs steering shock during hard hits on rocks and obstacles, along with the mounts that secure the steering servo to the chassis, and it fits CR12, Enduro12 Trail Truck, MT12 Monster Truck, MT12 Monster Van, and RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck vehicles that share this steering layout. The components are molded from an impact-resistant composite that flexes rather than cracks when the front wheels strike an obstacle at speed, protecting the more expensive steering servo from internal gear damage. Reliable steering geometry is especially important for crawling and scale off-road driving, where precise wheel control over uneven terrain determines whether an obstacle is cleared cleanly. This part is a direct replacement for the original factory servo saver and mounts, restoring steering performance to factory specification rather than serving as a performance upgrade. One complete servo saver and mount set is included.
