Description
This is a pair of steering blocks for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler, also fitting the MT12 Monster Truck, Monster Van, and RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck platforms. The steering blocks connect the front CVA driveshafts and hubs to the steering linkage, allowing the front wheels to turn while transferring power from the front differential. Molded from an impact-resistant composite material, the blocks are engineered to withstand the shock loads of rock crawling, curb strikes, and hard landings, holding up better than a block that has already developed cracks or excess play from prior impacts. Replacing worn or damaged steering blocks restores precise steering response and keeps the front CVA joints properly supported, preventing additional wear on the driveshafts and hubs caused by a loose or cracked block. This is a direct factory replacement for the original equipment steering blocks, suited to repairing impact damage rather than upgrading vehicle performance. Because the steering blocks sit at the intersection of the steering and drivetrain systems, keeping them solid is important for accurate handling and reliable four-wheel-drive operation on technical terrain.
