Description
This is a pair of rear drive axles for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler, also fitting the MT12 Monster Truck and Monster Van platforms. The rear drive axles connect the rear differential to the rear wheel hubs, transferring power from the drivetrain to the rear wheels and completing the rear half-shaft assembly. Constructed from a durable, torque-rated material, the axles are built to withstand the stress of rock crawling and off-road driving without twisting or snapping the way a fatigued or previously stressed axle can under hard use. Installing fresh rear drive axles restores solid, slop-free power transfer to the rear wheels, helping maintain consistent traction and preventing further wear on the differential and hub components. This is a direct factory replacement for the original equipment rear axles, intended to repair a broken or worn set rather than to change the vehicle's gearing or performance characteristics. Because the rear axles are a core link in the drivetrain, keeping them in good condition is essential for reliable four-wheel-drive power delivery, particularly when climbing obstacles or crawling over rocks where torque loads are highest.
