Description
This is a set of front CVA (constant-velocity axle) drive cups for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler, also fitting the MT12 Monster Truck, Monster Van, and RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck platforms. The drive cups form the outer joint housing of the front constant-velocity driveshafts, capturing the drive pins that transfer torque from the shaft to the steering knuckle while allowing the shaft to articulate through steering and suspension travel. Molded from a wear-resistant material, the cups are built to hold up against the repeated flexing and torque loading of technical rock crawling better than a cup that has already worn oversized or cracked from age and use. Replacing worn drive cups restores a tight fit around the drive pins, reducing slop, clicking, and premature wear in the CVA joint. This is a direct factory replacement for the original equipment drive cups, meant for repairing a worn front CVA joint rather than upgrading vehicle performance. Because the drive cups directly affect how cleanly power reaches the front wheels through steering movement, keeping them in good condition helps maintain smooth, reliable four-wheel-drive performance on the trail.
