Description
This is the rear axle housing and hub assembly for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler, also fitting the MT12 Monster Truck, Monster Van, and RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck platforms. The housing encloses the rear differential and axle shafts, while the hubs provide the mounting points for the rear wheels, forming a structural link between the drivetrain and the rear suspension. Molded from a durable composite material, the housing is engineered to handle the torque and impact loads generated during rock crawling and off-road driving, standing up better than a housing that has already been weakened by a hard hit or years of use. Installing a replacement rear axle housing restores correct differential alignment and hub fit, which helps prevent uneven wheel wear and additional stress on the axle shafts and gears. This is a direct factory replacement for the original rear axle housing and hubs, suited to repairing cracked or broken housings rather than changing the vehicle's performance characteristics. Because the rear axle carries drive torque directly to the wheels, keeping the housing solid is important for consistent traction and reliable operation on technical terrain.
