Description
This set combines the front and rear shock towers with the bumper mounts for the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler, and the same pieces fit the MT12 Monster Truck, Monster Van, and RC10 4X4 Pickup Truck platforms that share the CR12 chassis. The shock towers provide the upper mounting points for the dampers, setting shock angle and travel, while the bumper mounts anchor the front and rear bumpers to the frame rails and protect the chassis on impact. Molded from impact-resistant composite material, these parts are built to absorb hits from rocks, curbs, and hard landings without cracking the way an aging or already-stressed factory tower can. Replacing worn or broken shock towers and bumper mounts restores correct shock geometry for consistent suspension performance and re-establishes solid bumper support for ongoing bashing or crawling. This is a direct replacement for the original equipment towers and mounts, making it a straightforward repair after a rollover or hard hit rather than a performance upgrade. Keeping these mounting points intact is important for protecting the chassis rails and suspension components from further damage during use.
