Description
This is a pair of C-channel frame rails that form the structural backbone of the Team Associated CR12 rock crawler chassis, and they also fit the MT12 Monster Truck and Monster Van platforms that share the CR12 architecture. The rails run the length of the chassis and provide the mounting points for the body posts, bumper mounts, shock towers, and gearbox, tying the whole rock crawler or monster truck platform together. Molded in a rigid channel profile for maximum strength with minimal flex, they resist bending and twisting under the stress of rock crawling, technical climbs, and hard landings far better than a rail already fatigued from a crash. Replacing bent or cracked frame rails restores proper chassis geometry, keeping suspension travel and steering geometry consistent for predictable handling. This is a direct factory replacement for the original CR12 frame rails, letting owners repair a damaged chassis without needing a full replacement kit. Because the rails set the foundation for the entire drivetrain and suspension, using genuine replacement rails helps maintain the fit and function of every other component that bolts to them.
