Description
The Team Associated ASC3942 TC springs are 14.5 lb/in rate shock springs for touring car applications. Spring rate is the primary tuning tool on a touring car chassis. A stiffer spring reduces body roll and sharpens response on high grip asphalt or carpet, while a softer one lets the car generate more grip on loose or bumpy surfaces. Changing rate at one end alone biases the balance toward more steering or more rear traction.
These springs fit the Team Associated TC3, TC4, TC5R, TC6, and TC6.2 touring cars, as well as the APEX ready to run touring platforms that share the same shocks.
They install on your existing shocks as a direct replacement for a sagged or damaged spring, and equally serve as a tuning option when you want to move away from the rate supplied in the kit. Springs lose rate over time under load, so refreshing them restores predictable, repeatable handling. Worth keeping several rates in the pit box for changing track conditions.
