Description
This Team Associated 75 tooth 48 pitch Kimbrough spur gear transfers power from the motor pinion into the drivetrain and sets the final drive ratio of your car. It is the same gear as part number 8280. The Kimbrough composite construction runs quietly against a steel pinion and resists the chipping and tooth stripping that comes from a hard tumble or a slightly off mesh.
Going up in spur tooth count gears the car down, trading top speed for stronger acceleration off the corner and lower motor temperatures over a long run. Keeping a range of spurs in the pit box is the simplest way to adapt to a tight, technical layout or a wide open track.
Fitment covers the TC3, TC4, TC5, TC6.2, TC7, TC7.1 and TC7.2 touring cars, the RC10T3 truck, the RC10F6, and the RC10L3O, RC10L3T, RC10L4O and RC12L3O pan cars. This is a direct replacement for a worn or damaged spur gear and requires no modification to fit.
