Description
The Team Associated ASC3903 drive pinions are the small gears that mount to the drive shaft and mesh with the gear they drive inside the transmission. Because they sit at the front of the gear train, their condition directly controls how smoothly and quietly the drivetrain runs. Chipped or rounded teeth cause noise, binding, and lost drive, and the damage spreads quickly to the mating gear.
Fitment covers the Team Associated TC3, NTC3, and TC4 touring cars along with the RC10B44.1 and RC10B44.2 4WD buggies, all of which use this drive pinion.
These are direct replacements for the pinions supplied in those kits, so they drop into the existing gearbox with no modification and mesh correctly with your factory gears. Any gearbox rebuild is a good moment to fit a fresh pinion, since running a worn one will damage the gear it drives. Inexpensive enough to stock several and keep your transmission service kit complete for the next teardown.
