Description
This servo saver is designed to protect the steering servo on Team Associated pan car platforms, including the RC10R5, RC12L Competition On-Road kit, RC12L4, and RC12R6, when paired with Futaba-pattern steering components. Mounted between the steering linkage and the servo horn, the servo saver absorbs shock loads from curb strikes and collisions before that force can reach the servo's internal gears, preventing stripped gears or a burned-out servo from a hard impact. Its spring-loaded design flexes under sudden loads and returns the steering linkage to center once the impact passes, so steering response stays accurate lap after lap instead of drifting off center after a hit. Built from durable engineered plastic, it holds up to the repeated impacts and vibration of regular on-road racing without losing its return-to-center tension. This is a direct replacement for the factory Futaba-pattern servo saver used across these pan car platforms, installing with the existing steering linkage and servo horn. One servo saver is included per package, ready to swap in for a worn or cracked unit.
