Description
This adjustable body mount lets you position the body precisely on your Team Associated RC10TC8 rather than being locked to a single fixed height and location. Body position is a genuine tuning tool in touring car racing: raising or lowering the shell changes how air loads the front and rear, and moving it fore or aft shifts the aerodynamic balance between ends of the car.
Adjustability also solves a practical problem. Different body shells have their mounting holes in different places, so a mount you can set to match the shell you want to run saves you from drilling new holes or accepting a body that sits crooked and rubs the tires.
Once set, the mount holds the body securely through hard cornering and contact, keeping the shell from shifting mid-run and changing the car's balance without warning. Fits the TC8 Graphite-Spec chassis, installing at the stock body mount locations as a direct upgrade over fixed mounting posts or as a replacement for a mount damaged in a crash.
