Description
This 92-tooth 64-pitch spur gear lets you set a taller primary gear ratio on your Team Associated RC10TC8. Combined with your pinion choice, it controls how motor power is delivered to the belts and wheels, trading some corner-exit punch for higher top speed and lower motor RPM at a given road speed.
A lower tooth count like 92 suits fast, open layouts with long straights where the car spends real time at speed. The 64-pitch tooth profile keeps multiple teeth engaged at once for quiet, smooth power transfer, and gives you fine ratio steps when you pair it with different pinions to dial in run temperatures and lap times.
Spur gears take damage from debris, a bad mesh, or a motor mount that works loose, and a chipped spur will destroy the pinion it runs against. Fits the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis as a direct replacement on the stock spur mount. Keeping a range of spur sizes on hand lets you gear correctly for any track you visit.
