Description
This set contains the shock pistons and anti-roll bar bushing for the Team Associated RC10TC8. The pistons ride on the shock shafts and meter how quickly oil passes through them, which together with your oil weight determines the damping curve of the car. Changing piston hole size or count is one of the most effective ways to alter how the chassis reacts to bumps, curbs, and rapid direction changes.
The included anti-roll bar bushing supports the sway bar where it passes through the bulkhead, keeping the bar located properly so it loads consistently in both directions. A worn bushing lets the bar move around and makes roll stiffness unpredictable from corner to corner.
Both parts wear with use, and pistons in particular get scored or lose their crisp edges after many rebuilds, causing inconsistent damping between the four shocks. Fits the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis as a direct replacement for the stock components, using your existing shock bodies and hardware.
