Description
This 38-tooth spool with integrated spur gear pulley replaces the gear differential on your Team Associated RC10TC8. A spool locks both driveshafts together so the wheels on that axle always turn at the same speed, which is the standard front-end setup for most competitive touring car racing.
Running a spool up front gives you sharper turn-in, stronger corner exit drive, and far more predictable steering response than a front differential, particularly on high-grip carpet and asphalt. It also removes a wear item from the car: there is no fluid to leak, no internal gears to strip, and no rebuild schedule to keep up with between race weekends.
The 38-tooth pulley drives the belt directly, matching the stock drivetrain ratio. Fits the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis and installs in place of the differential using your existing outdrives and bearings, making it both a direct replacement for a worn spool and a straightforward upgrade if you are currently running a front diff.
