Description
These axle crush tubes are genuine Team Associated hardware sized for a 5.6mm axle, fitting the RC10B84 family of 1/10 scale off-road buggies, the RC10T84 Team truck, and both TC8 touring car specs. A crush tube sits inside the hub bearing and is clamped between the axle shoulder and the wheel hex when the axle nut is tightened, preventing the bearings from being overtightened and crushed while still letting the axle spin freely and smoothly. Machined from aluminum, these crush tubes hold precise tolerances and resist wear far better than a worn or deformed factory tube, keeping bearing preload consistent and reducing rolling resistance and unwanted wheel wobble. A worn or bent crush tube can let bearings bind or a hub run out of true, hurting rolling efficiency and handling, so replacing it restores smooth, accurate wheel rotation. This is a direct factory replacement matched to the original 5.6mm bore and length, not a different axle size, and installs with the stock axle and bearing hardware on every listed platform.
