Description
The Team Associated ASC32033 Short Battery Standoffs mount and locate the battery pack in your RC10TC8 touring car. They work with the battery strap or brace to clamp the pack securely against the chassis, preventing it from shifting under hard cornering and braking where a moving mass upsets handling balance.
These standoffs fit the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec platforms. The short height suits lower-profile battery packs and lets you set clamping pressure correctly for the pack you actually run, rather than overtightening or leaving the battery loose in the chassis tray.
Standoffs take a beating in rollovers and are easy to lose during a rushed pit stop, so a spare set is worth having. These are a direct replacement for the standoffs used in the TC8 build, installing in the stock chassis locations with no modification. Fit them, secure your pack properly, and get consistent weight placement every time you drop a battery into the car.
