Description
The Team Associated ASC32028 RC10TC8 DCV Couplers are the coupler halves of the constant velocity driveshafts on your RC10TC8 touring car. A DCV joint is designed to pass torque evenly even at large steering angles, and the coupler is where that happens, so its condition controls how smoothly power reaches the front wheels while you are turning.
These couplers are direct replacements for those supplied in the RC10TC8 kit and fit both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. The pin bores and drive faces wear under repeated load, and once they elongate you get audible clicking at lock, a vibration on corner exit, and a car that no longer puts power down cleanly out of tight turns.
Replace worn couplers along with fresh cross pins and tubes for a complete joint rebuild. Grease them lightly, reassemble to the RC10TC8 manual, and restore the smooth, consistent front drive that makes the car easy to place on corner exit.
