The Team Associated ASC32016 RC10TC8 Shock Collar Set provides the threaded spring collars that ride on the shock bodies of your RC10TC8 touring car. The collars set spring preload, which is how you dial ride height at each corner and fine-tune corner weights, making them one of the most frequently adjusted parts on a competitive touring car.
This set is a direct replacement for the shock collars supplied in the RC10TC8 kit and fits both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. Collars get turned constantly between rounds, and once the threads pick up grit or the collar loses its grip on the body, preload creeps during a run and your carefully set ride height quietly walks away from you.
Fresh collars restore clean, positive thread feel so small preload changes actually stay put. Fit them during a shock rebuild, reset ride height to your setup sheet, and get back to making precise, repeatable adjustments between heats.
