Description
The Team Associated ASC32014 RC10TC8 Shock Cap Tops close off the top of the shock bodies on your RC10TC8 touring car and provide the mounting eyelet that attaches each damper to the shock tower. They have to seal the shock reliably while carrying the full suspension load through every landing and every curb strike.
These caps are direct replacements for the shock cap tops supplied in the RC10TC8 kit and fit both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. The cap threads are removed and refitted at every rebuild, so cross-threading and gradual wear are common, and a cap that no longer seals cleanly will keep bleeding oil no matter how fresh the O-rings are.
If a shock leaks from the top, weeps after bleeding, or the mounting eyelet has been damaged in a crash, new caps are the direct fix. Fit them during your normal shock rebuild alongside fresh O-rings, bleed to your usual technique, and get consistent damping back on all four corners.
