Description
The Team Associated ASC32013 RC10TC8 Shock Bodies feature a Fox Kashima Coat finish, the hard surface treatment Fox developed to cut friction inside a damper. In an RC touring car shock the body bore is what the piston and seals slide against, so a lower-friction, harder-wearing surface means the damper reacts to small inputs more freely and holds its feel longer between rebuilds.
These bodies are direct replacements for those in the RC10TC8 kit and fit both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. A scored or dented shock body will never seal properly no matter how carefully you rebuild it, so replacing damaged bodies is the fix when a shock keeps losing oil or feels notchy through its stroke.
Rebuild with fresh bodies whenever you notice leaking, inconsistent pack, or a difference in feel between corners of the car. Use them with your existing RC10TC8 caps, collars, and shafts, refill to your usual oil weight, and get four dampers behaving identically again.
