Description
The Team Associated ASC32012 RC10TC8 Spur Gear Screw Set is the dedicated hardware that fastens the spur gear to the pulley hub on your RC10TC8 touring car. These screws carry every bit of torque the motor sends into the drivetrain, so their thread condition and head fit are what keep the spur gear clamped square and running true.
The set is a direct replacement for the spur gear screws supplied in the RC10TC8 kit and fits both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. Because these fasteners are removed and refitted every time you change spur gears, they see far more thread cycles than most hardware on the car, and a rounded head or stretched thread is an easy way to lose a gear mid-run.
Keep a spare set with your pit gear so a stripped screw never sidelines the car. Fit them to the torque and sequence shown in the RC10TC8 manual, check them during routine maintenance, and keep the spur gear running flat and quiet.
