Description
The Team Associated ASC32009 RC10TC8 Carbon Fiber Stiff Top Deck is a 2.5mm carbon fiber upper deck for the RC10TC8 touring car. The top deck ties the front and rear bulkheads together and is the single biggest lever you have over chassis flex, which is what determines how much grip the car generates and how progressively it releases in a corner.
At 2.5mm this is the stiff option in the RC10TC8 top deck range. The extra rigidity suits high-bite carpet and rubber-tire asphalt, where a firmer chassis keeps the car responsive, sharpens steering into the corner, and stops the platform from over-loading the tires on tight, technical layouts.
It fits both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis and installs with the standard kit screws in place of the existing deck, so it works as a straight replacement for a cracked or delaminated deck or as a deliberate setup change. Carry both thicknesses and you can retune chassis flex between rounds in minutes.
