Description
The Team Associated ASC32007 RC10TC8 Motor Mount clamps your brushless motor to the chassis and sets its position relative to the spur gear or drive pulley. A rigid, precisely located motor mount is what keeps gear mesh consistent lap after lap, protecting both the drivetrain and the motor pinion from the wear that comes with a mesh that wanders under load.
This mount is a direct replacement for the one supplied in the RC10TC8 kit and fits both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. Its adjustment slots let you set mesh accurately and change pinion sizes for different tracks without disturbing the rest of the drivetrain layout.
The motor mount also acts as a heat path away from the motor and takes real load every time the car lands hard or contacts a boarding, so a stripped thread or a hairline crack is worth replacing rather than nursing. Bolt in a fresh mount, reset your gear mesh to the RC10TC8 manual spec, and restore full, repeatable power delivery to the track.
