Description
The Team Associated ASC32005 RC10TC8 Front Shock Mounts secure the front shocks to the shock tower on your RC10TC8 touring car. They set the upper shock position, which controls damper angle, effective spring rate, and how quickly the front end reacts to steering input and bumps mid-corner.
These mounts are a direct replacement for the front shock mounts supplied in the RC10TC8 kit and fit both the TC8 Graphite-Spec and TC8 Steel-Spec chassis. Shock mounts sit right in the impact zone of a front-end hit, so a spare pair in the pit box keeps a broken or tweaked mount from costing you a heat.
Because the mounts define the outer shock location, swapping between the positions shown in the RC10TC8 manual is one of the quickest ways to change front grip for a new surface or changing track conditions. Fit them with the standard kit hardware, reset your baseline geometry, and get the front damping response back to exactly where your setup sheet says it should be.
