Description
The Team Associated ASC31966 Offroad Dust Filter Net is a fine-mesh screen designed for 1:10 scale offroad vehicles, where dirt, dust, and loose debris are constantly thrown up into the chassis and electronics area during running. The net is fitted over openings in the body or chassis to block particles from reaching sensitive components while still allowing air to pass through for cooling.
This filter net is listed as a replacement part for the RC10 4x4 Rally, and it is cut and trimmed to suit the openings on that platform. Because it is supplied as flexible mesh material, it can be shaped to fit the intake and cooling openings of the body shell or chassis tray it is being installed on.
Use it as a direct replacement for a torn or clogged filter net, or as an addition if you frequently run on dusty, sandy, or gravel surfaces where motor and receiver protection matters. Keeping a spare on hand helps limit the amount of grit that reaches your drivetrain and electronics.
