Description
The Team Associated ASC31959 turnbuckle set supplies the adjustable steering and camber links for the RC10 4x4 Rally. Turnbuckles are threaded rods with opposing left and right hand threads at each end, so rotating the rod lengthens or shortens the link without removing it from the car. This is how camber, toe, and steering geometry are set.
Being able to adjust these settings quickly between runs is central to tuning a rally car for changing surfaces, and turnbuckles make those changes possible with a turnbuckle wrench alone. Bent links, damaged threads, or rods that have been over stressed in a crash will not hold a setting reliably and should be replaced rather than straightened.
This set is a direct replacement for the turnbuckles supplied in the kit and uses the standard ball ends and hardware. It fits the RC10 4x4 Rally. Refer to the kit manual for the correct link lengths when fitting replacements, and check the setup sheet for baseline camber and toe values.
