Description
The Team Associated ASC31957 front bumper mount is the molded part that secures the front bumper to the chassis on the RC10 4x4 Rally. It sits at the very front of the car and forms the load path between the bumper and the chassis plate, transferring impact energy back into the structure instead of letting it reach the front suspension and steering components.
The bumper mount is one of the hardest working parts on a rally car, absorbing head on hits with barriers, rocks, and other cars. It is designed to take that abuse, but repeated impacts eventually crack the mount or elongate its screw holes, which lets the bumper move and reduces the protection it offers.
This is a direct replacement for the kit part and installs with the existing hardware, requiring no modification. It fits the RC10 4x4 Rally. Because a failed bumper mount usually leads to more expensive damage further back in the car, inspecting it after heavy contact and replacing it when cracked is worthwhile preventive maintenance.
