Description
The Team Associated ASC31956 set supplies the gearbox top plates and the receiver box top for the RC10 4x4 Rally. These molded parts close the top of the front and rear gearbox housings and cap the enclosed receiver box, holding the internal components in position and sealing the assemblies against dirt, dust, and moisture thrown up from a loose rally surface.
The gearbox top plates locate the upper bearings and outdrive positions, so how well they fit directly affects gear mesh and how smoothly the drivetrain turns. The receiver box top is part of the water resistant enclosure that protects the radio gear, and a cracked or warped cover compromises that seal.
These are direct replacements for the parts supplied in the kit and install using the existing screws with no modification needed. They fit the RC10 4x4 Rally. Because these covers are the parts most often removed for differential service and radio access, the screw bosses wear over time, making a fresh set worth keeping for a car that sees regular maintenance.
